Dress Code:

All students should have their hair pulled tightly away from their face.  Students should have the proper clothing (NO JEANS).  Dance attire includes leotards, tights, and athletic clothing etc. The proper footwear is essential and may include jazz, tap and/or ballet shoes, half soles for lyrical, and barefoot (no socks or tights) for acro.  Absolutely no jewelry other than stud earrings allowed. Students should have a dance bag and shoes labeled.

Class Placement:

Children are placed in classes according to their ability and age.  If determined necessary, they are moved at the teacher's discretion.  If a question arises about the child’s placement, please contact Miss Cathy for a teachers conference.

 

Recitals:

Our annual recital is held in June and is the highlight of our year. The recital is optional, but students must attend all rehearsals to participate in the recital. The recital is 2 shows. Final dates and times will be given later in the year.

​Schedule:

We follow the Grand Island School District cancellation prompts. Classes will be canceled when the GISD cancels due to weather.  We are only off on major holidays.  We will still have classes on days that students have off for teacher conferences etc.
